Orlando Shooting Incident: Here's What To Do To Help The Victims

Orlando, Florida - It's been all over the news. This mass shooting has been a recurring plaque leaving everyone with trauma.

CNN reported that this certain gunman who was born American, pledge his allegiance to ISIS. The fact that Omar Matten was able to kill 50 people and wounded 53 after 3 hours of standoff is just enough to have everyone feel helpless.

According to Mind Matters Blogger, Emily Kircher, she herself questions, wanting to know if those little traumas that people experience every now and then could be the culprit for a mental health disorders in the country. As a counselor herself, she wonders how she will be able to support her clients that come to her with their concerns when she herself is trying to be ok with what's going on in our society.  

What Kircher wants to point out is that, in order for us to get through this traumas, we need to be there for each other. To bring out the best good that we can be. It could be hard to walk alone on the path to recovery, but if we all together in this, endeavor then we are strengthened.

There are others who have made a call for a vigil, go join them in. Blood donations are needed for those who have been injured as well. As of this writing, there is an urgent need for blood type O, negative O positive, and AB plasma donors. You can go ahead and sign up at the National Red Cross.

Money donation can also be made in order to help those victims with their medical bills. Elle mentioned that Equality Florida was able to put up a go fund me campaign. Interested parties may to their website and help.
