Kate Middleton Says Princess Charlotte Has a Cheeky Nature, Mingles With Guests

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, chatted with Glynis Double, whose husband, Paul, is in charge of the City's Remembrancer event. As a mother herself, she asked Kate about her children and commented on what a pretty little thing most people thought of Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The Duchess confessed Charlotte is very cute but she has a cheeky nature.

Kate told Mrs. Double that George is a really lovely little boy. The 34-year-old Duchess later adds at a reception at the Guildhall in the City of London that she hoped Prince George, who'll turn three in July, would keep his one-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte in order.

Mrs. Double wasn't expecting the Duchess and other members of the royal family would join in the conversation with guests and how it had been such a real honor. Kate Middleton also expressed how happy she was to be there and how lovely the service was at the national service of thanksgiving for the Queen's official 90th birthday.

She told Express that she was surprised when she was introduced to the Duchess saying that Kate was just lovely and very, very beautiful. She adds as Kate Middleton takes care of the guests "She kept on asking if we had enough to eat"; she ensures the Duchess that dinner kept on coming. Mrs. Double further expressed her happiness that she's proud of her husband involved in organizing the event calling the day "fabulous."

Members of the Royal Family talked with guests at the reception over sparkling wine and Pimms and canapés after the service. The reception of 1,800 people includes Princes William and Harry, Price Andrew - the Duke of York and his daughters and Prince Edward and Sophie - the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children. The Queen's other grandchildren were also present, reports News Umbrella.

They all step off a hired bus, which is unusual compared to the chauffeur driven cars employed by senior royals and City bigwigs. The guests welcomed the royal party clapping rhythmically as they walked into the Great Hall, and stood for The National Anthem for the service.
