Following the week-long first anniversary celebration of "ARK: Survival Evolved" earlier this month, Studio Wildcard announced during the PC Gaming Show at the E3 2016 event in Los Angeles that new features, biomes and a series official mods will be launched into the game soon. But what was more interesting was the coming of the largest "ARK" dinosaur into the game.
The Redwood Forest Biome In 'ARK: Survival Evolved'
After the launch of a series of patches in "ARK: Survival Evolved" on both Xbox One and PC platforms, Studio Wildcard is preparing to launch several exciting features and changes into the game. First up is the Redwood Forest biome.
According to Polygon, gamers will be allowed to explore the "vertical exploration"-inspired are called Redwood biome. In this place, communities build treetop bases and climb between platforms with tamed pterodactyls and grappling hooks.
'ARK: Survival Evolved' Largest Dinosaur
Aside from the Redwood biome, "ARK: Survival Evolved" will also welcome its newest dino member called Titanosaur (Titanosaurus Vagacastrum) later this June. This extremely rare and largest "ARK" creature will be used by players to siege a fortress or to destroy small houses and creatures, PC Gamer notes.
'ARK: Primal Survival' And 'Primitive+' Release Date And Details
In addition, a series of official mods is reportedly coming in "ARK: Survival Evolved" later this year. First is "Primitive+" mod, which will add more role-playing features and will be released on July 28 on PC and Xbox One, GameSpot reveals.
"ARK: Primal Survival," on the other hand, will be coming to "ARK: Survival Evolved" later this year. The mod will reportedly allow players to control animal in the "ARK" realm.
"'ARK: Primal Survival' is an upcoming Total Conversion where survivors will be able to play, live, and breed as any of the ARK's creatures!" the description of the mod read, as per Kotaku. "Survivors will experience full survival mechanics and lifecycles, including mating, growing, recruiting more creatures to your 'pack,' even constructing primitive dens."
