The second half of "Vikings" Season 4 may see the death of Rollo (Clive Standen). As seen in the midseason finale of the History Channel drama, Rollo and Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) survived despite the latter's declaration that only one of them will survive in their battle.

"Vikings" Season 4 ended with Rollo in Paris and Enstarz reported on his character's return in the upcoming episodes. However, there is a possibility that Rollo might get killed in the finale of Season 4B because of Standen's busy schedule.

According to the publication, Standen is also busy filming for his NBC drama "Taken." This means that Standen will only get to film for "Vikings" when it reaches its fifth season.

Meanwhile, showrunner Michael Hirst told Entertainment Weekly that Ragnar's return following that time jump will have some serious implications. "Vikings" Season 4 may ultimately reveal the purpose of his return, but the showrunner hinted that the backstory in between the time jump will no longer be explored.

"Vikings" Season 4B may also see more of Ragnar's sons now that they have grown up and some are already thinking of killing their own father. Hirst shared that Ivar (Alex Hogh Andersen) will play a vital role in the upcoming episodes.

"There are some great scenes between him and Travis in [the second half of the season]," he said. "He really is someone who's going to take the show forward."

"Vikings" Season 4 returns this fall on History Channel.
