Songstress Hillary Scott of Trio Lady Antebellum Opens up About Miscarriage

One of the members of the trio Lady Antebellum, songstress Hillary Scott, has revealed in a recent interview that she suffered a miscarriage last year and she talked about how she is coping with the tragic loss.

She was interviewed last Monday by the ABC morning show Good Morning America and Scott said that the miscarriage was last fall and noted that she feels tragic losses such as this is something that is not talked about very often.

Scott continued to say, "I also feel like there's this pressure that you're supposed to be able to snap your fingers and continue to walk through life like it never happened."

She pointed out that some songs in their latest album are about her family getting through the tough time. The first single off the new family album called Love Remains, which will be out this July 29, was about her miscarriage. She said that she wrote the song in the middle of experiencing everything that comes with the miscarriage, E! News reported.

Scott added, "It was my most raw place that I could've ever been when this song truly poured out of me." The song is entitled Thy Will.

The 30-year-old, who is the lead lady singer of the country group, shares a two-year-old daughter with her husband Chris Tyrell. Their daughter's name is Eisele Kaye. After the miscarriage, Scott said that she has become a different mother to their daughter noting that she treasures the time she has with her child and hugs her a lot tighter.

Her husband is also in the music industry as he is the drummer of the country music band Love and Theft. The pair met during Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour back in 2010. They tied the knot two years after in upstate New York.

This summer, Lady Antebellum will be hitting the road to tour.
