'Outlander' Season 2 Episode 12 Spoilers, News & Update: Claire Randall To Commit Murder? Jamie Fraser Fighting A Losing Battle?

"Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12, "The Hail Mary" will set Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) for the tension of the coming finale "Dragonfly In Amber." However, in this pre-finale episode of "Outlander" Season 2, Claire Randall will commit murder as preparations for the Battle Of Culloden raise the question: is Jamie Fraser setting up for a fall?

Carter Matt points out that deaths are certain to come before "Outlander" Season 2 is out, however "The Hail Mary" will see death in the hands of Claire Randall. Although Claire Randall herself narrowly missed harm and death in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 11, "Vengeance Is Mine" through the Duke of Sardingham, the table will be turned and the wife of "Red Jamie" will be doing the killing.

Citing Unreality TV, reports that Starz foretold the murder as a result of Claire Randall crossing paths once more to Jamie Fraser's less than kindly Uncle Colum in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12. Given the witch trial botch up in their history Claire Randall will seemingly have enough motive to kill Colum in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12.

However, Unreality TV points out that Claire Randall will actually be reluctant to mete out the end to Colum except Jamie Fraser's uncle chose "The Hail Mary" to atone for his previous "Outlander" actions. With grievances set aside, Colum will beg Claire Randall to end his unbearable pain until Jamie Fraser's wife capitulates and facilitates a mercy kill in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12.

In the meantime Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz) also resurfaces in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12 weak with sickness, but his eyes are set on no other cause than to save Mary Hawkins (Rosie Day). For the second time in "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12, Claire Randall will find herself on the receiving end of a bizarre plan.

As the day of reckoning draw near, "The Hail Mary" will assess if the events of "Outlander" Season 2 gave Jamie Fraser enough mettle to give the Jacobite army a fighting chance against the Culloden Moor massacre. "Outlander" Season 2 has been building up to this with both Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall physically and emotionally invested on the Jacobite army.

Starz will air "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12, "The Hail Mary" on June 25. Following "Outlander" Season 2 Episode 12, Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser will march the storyline toward the bitter end on July 9 with "Dragonfly In Amber."
