Rumor mill is spreading that Caitriona Balfe will be saying goodbye soon as her character, Claire Randall, is reportedly aging fast in "Outlander" Season 4. Sources claim that an older-looking actress has to replace the leading lady of Sam Heughan should the production follow what is written in the novel.

However, "Outlander" author Diana Gabaldon was quick to debunk reports about Caitriona Balfe leaving the show. According to International Business Times, Diana Gabaldon has said Caitriona Balfe could easily portray the older Claire Randall -- who is in her 40s already -- as she is already 35 years-old.

Moreover, Diana Gabaldon has said that she sees no other actress who can play Claire Randall better than Caitriona Balfe. Also, fans would definitely feel devastated seeing only Sam Heughan in the upcoming "Outlander" Season 4.

Meanwhile, Showbiz  Maven has claimed that Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are dating. As a matter of fact, sources have divulged that the "Outlander" stars do not seem to mind who can witness their PDA.

Adding fuel to the fire is the revelation of a show extra to Celeb Dirty Laundry saying Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are very sweet on the "Outlander" set. Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear," the unnamed witness said.

"She was laughing at whatever he said and well, they looked like an ordinary couple," the source added. Celeb Dirty Laundry also said both Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have failed to keep their relationship friendly that they have grown romantically attached with each other.
