Leslie Jones Claims No One Wants to Dress Her for 'Ghostbusters' Premiere, Calls Out Designers Not Catering to Her Size

Leslie Jones, a star in the upcoming "Ghostbusters" all-female reboot took to Twitter to say that no designer wants to dress her for the premiere of the movie as well as called out these stylists for not catering to women of her size.

E! News reported that the red carpet premiere of "Ghostbusters" will be on July 9 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Jones took to Twitter on Tuesday to say this: "It's so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything."

Hours after the tweet, a fashion designer named Christian Siriano, who also is a "Project Runway" winner, sent her a wave emoji and the "Ghostbusters" star replied a resounding "YAAAAAASSSSSS."

Although it is unclear if Siriano will actually be designing a dress for Jones since the two have no longer released details on Twitter after the brief exchange of short messages on the social media platform, Siriano reportedly said in a statement to Time magazine via e-mail that he loves Jones and cannot wait to make something fabulous for the star to wear. He added, "I dress and support women of all ages and sizes."

Siriano has been successful after his "Project Runway" win as he has dressed stars such as Uzo Aduba, Christina Hendricks, Gabourey Sidibe, Lady Gaga, and Sarah Hyland. He recently unveiled his 18-piece plus-size collection for Lane Bryant back in April.

"Saturday Night Live" star Jones is still getting used to the life on the spotlight. She has appeared on Elle's July cover and she shared she cannot move in some of the outfits that she wears as she tries to be cute.

Jones is not alone in this predicament as her "Ghostbusters" co-star Melissa McCarthy also had the same problem in the past. McCarthy shared in a recent interview that designers were not too excited to dress her for the recent Oscars.
