Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Answers Questions on Plastic Surgery, Childhood

Valeria Lukyanova, the Ukrainian model best known as the Human Barbie, has appeared in an interview and answered questions sent by her fans.

The model has become an internet sensation back in 2012 due to her proportions, make-up, and overall doll-like appearance. Lukyanova has been taking on DJ gigs all over the world, has been acting, and also started writing books on spirituality.

Lukyanova was in Los Angeles this month to film for a horror film called "The Doll" where she plays the homicidal character. She then sat down for an interview with TooFab, which is a rare event, and talked about her childhood, her critics, and the misconceptions about her personal life, E! News reported.

One fan asked that Lukyanova's childhood was like and she said that she was very cheerful and had a happy childhood adding that she constantly traveled and was engaged in tourism, hunting, and astronomy. She also said that looking back at her photos before she became known as the Human Barbie, she said that people have changed since childhood but for her, she thinks that since she was 14 years old, the only thing that changed is her body and her hair color.

As for plastic surgery, she said that she will not be under the knife anytime soon now but if the future requires that, she would be okay as she has nothing against such procedures. She was also asked about what she would say to people who believe that she did not achieve her body and her look naturally. She shared, "I think that these kind of people should understand that it is necessary to evaluate a person not on the external qualities but by their soul."

As for the biggest misconception that people make about her, she said that people usually say she did a lot of surgeries to look the way that she did but her look is only a "side effect of my inner world." She explained that she is a writer, a musician, a DJ and also lead seminars on spiritual topics.

She continued to say that she does not see herself like a Barbie as she sees herself only as a classy girl. As for applying make-up and getting ready, she said that she takes about an hour and a half to complete her look.

The 30-year-old also plans to sing in Spanish as she once learned how to sing in Russian. She then told her fans that she encourages them to become a vegetarian as there will be a lot of changes if they did that.
