Nina Dobrev to Return to 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8

Nina Dobrev's return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, according to reports does not sit well with Nikki Reed. Just thinking that Dobrev and Somerhalder will work together again is actually breaking Reed's sanity.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder started dating during the first season of "The Vampire Diaries." The two broke up, however, and Dobrev left the show.

The two stars of "The Vampire Diaries" dated for three years and although they have already broken up, reports are saying that they remained friends. Soon after, Somerhalder dated Nikki Reed, which also let to the two getting married.                

The Inquisitr reported that Reed and Dobrev were good friends but as soon as Reed got engaged with Somerhalder, the two had bad blood. And while Somerhalder is already happily married, fans are still hoping that he and Dobrev will get back together for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

Reports of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Reed divorce are actually not confirmed since the couple has been seen on multiple occasions going out hand in hand. In fact, "The Vampire Diaries" actor was spotted having an intimate dinner with Reed.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will also introduce new characters as well. Kristen Gotoskie will play the role of Seline. A nanny by day and a small-town-girl in a dangerous town at night. The Christian Times indicated that the new character may take care after Alaric's (Mathew Davis) twin daughters.

Another character that is set to create changes in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is Sybil. Sybil is an immortal who has the ability to control and influence other people for the sole purpose of his enjoyment.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will come this October 21 on The CW.
