The Veronicas To Make a Health Documentary to Combat Body Shamers

It is quite hard to avoid judgmental people these days, as they seem to be loving pointing out even the smallest flaws you have. This is extremely true for celebrities and the musical duo The Veronicas are no exception. Body shamers have taken shots at the twins' slender figures calling them unhealthy, but they shot back twice giving body shamers a peek at their lengthy grocery list and they also posed naked in their latest album cover.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, the Veronicas are already tired of receiving comments on their weight. They believe that being healthy does not necessarily mean that you have to look or eat a certain way. Inspite of being as thin as they are, they claim to still be eating right and getting all the nutrients that their body requires in order to live a healthy lifestyle.

The sisters have spent years researching on healthy eating, says Sky News Australia. Now the Veronicas want to make a documentary on health using everything they have learnt so far. "It makes it so exhausting and hilarious when people try to have the conversation with us with the most ignorant statements, like a troll on Facebook on a photo, because it's something we've taken very personally in our personal life for over six or seven years now and it's been a passion," says the twins.

The twins even go as far as saying that the conventional food pyramid that we use as a blueprint for a healthy diet may not be that healthy at all, as there are certainly so much better alternatives out there. "Our food pyramid, the kind of diet that is constantly promoted, is completely warped," says Jessica, one of the twins. "It's not based around anything to do with healing your body," she adds.
