While it remains to be seen how and in what way "Outlander" Season 2 will take fans on a rollercoaster ride in its finale, series creator Ron Moore said that the finale will ultimately prove that it is hard to change the course of history. In this season, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) worked hard to stop the Battle of Culloden from happening.

"Ultimately the show has always been about relationships," Moore said. "Not only is that the climax of history, but it's also the climax of the relationships that are happening at the time."

Meanwhile, production for "Outlander" Season 3 is set to begin anytime soon. In an interview with Zap2It, Moore admitted that shooting for "Voyager" is less complicated than "Dragonfly in Amber."

Moore also revealed that "Outlander" Season 3 will most likely air 13 episodes, similar to Season 2. As for the possibility that the Starz time traveler series will travel all the way to the U.S. to film scenes, Moore said that this is unlikely to happen in Season 3.

"Outlander" Season 2 finale "Dragonfly in Amber" airs on July 9 on Starz.
