Play 'Pokemon' Game In 'Minecraft,' Here's How

Wouldn't you know it? Those adorable, spunky Pokemon can now be played in a Minecraft game, and a Reddit user just shared his latest take on the game to everyone.

Now, fans of Pokemon Fire Red can try out the lovable older version of the popular Pokemon game series via Game Boy Advance. The game is pretty simple and basic for the meantime explains creator Reqaug, according to Engadget.

However, the idea of integrating a starter version in the Minecraft world is surely interesting though. Requag also described how he tailor-fitted Pokemon Fire Red inside Minecraft.

Although the Pokemon Fire Red-Minecraft version doesn't show any combatting gameplay or dialog, it still thoroughly done for play in the Game Boy Advance console. The elementary gameplay of Pokemon Fire Red in Minecraft is being featured as layers of patterned blocks which is how Minecraft is normally presented. These Pokemon Fire Red blocks in Minecraft are tiles seen in the game and move as the player courses through the game.

Requag also pointed out that players looking for that adrenaline quick fix may not find the Pokemon Fire Red version in Minecraft. Still a "work in progress" effort, Requag and his buddies are making sure to put in a lot more time on elevating the blocky Pokemon Fire Red in Minecraft to feature better graphics and movement.

In a related Polygon post, Requag's Pokemon Fire Red can work with Minecraft version 1.10 plus there's no mod needed. The recreation of a Pokemon Fire Red gameplay, though elementary it is, rather gives curious minds some insight on what else could be built within the game.

Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon franchise creator Satoshi Tajiri would have probably scoffed at the idea of the game showed off in its developmental stage, but looks like he's not complaining either. Tajiri could also tap on Requag's developer skills and ask him to fine-tune other Pokemon game versions in the future.
