'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 News & Update: Is Sansa Pregnant? Sophie Turner And Iwan Rheon Talk Possibilities

Is Sansa pregnant on "Game of Thrones"? Are viewers going to see Ramsay Bolton's child in Season 7? Theories about her pregnancy arose even before the show ended its successful Season 6 run, and now the stars who play the characters, Sophie Turner and Iwan Rheon, have spoken up about the possibility of Sansa's pregnancy.

In the final episode of "Game of Thrones," Ramsay told Sansa that she cannot kill him since he's already a part of her. Some viewers believed this meant that Ramsay was alluding to his child after he forced himself on Sansa in an earlier episode.

Promo photos of Sansa for "Game of Thrones" also showed Sophie Turner wearing a bulky coat that hinted of a baby belly, per Independent. But the actress said that, fortunately for Sansa and unfortunately for the viewers, there is no baby. "I think some people have taken [Ramsay's words] very literally, thinking that she might be pregnant," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Sophie Turner believes that Sansa's final scene with Ramsay on "Game of Thrones" implied that she will never forget how he violated her. It also implied how "he underestimates just how strong she is, and just how easily she can forget him," added the actress.

On the other hand, Iwan Rheon told Bustle a similar interpretation of that final "Game of Thrones" scene. Ramsay believes that even though he is dead, Sansa will never forget what her evil husband has done to her.

But given how the show has lied about plotlines in the past, viewers are still not convinced Sansa is not pregnant. It's unclear how far along the timeline is from Sansa's rape to Ramsay's death. But if she is indeed pregnant, Sansa could have claim House Bolton in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, especially when it no longer has a leader.

Will she want this to happen, though? Will viewers rally behind Sansa if this is the case? "Game of Thrones" Season 7 won't return in nearly a year, so for now, Sansa's pregnancy will remain a subject of speculation.
