"Girl Meets World" Season 3 spoilers tease that the love triangle between Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) will soon come to an end. According to HOFMag, showrunner Michael Jacobs had an interview with The Wrap and said that the viewers will soon realize that there was never a triangle between these three in the first place.

"On 'Girl Meets World,' if the audience perceives that what this is about is a love triangle, then they don't know us," he said. "There is a much bigger and broader conceptual question that we are answering with what appears to be a triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas."

This statement caused quite a bit of confusion among fans and viewers since both Maya and Riley had feelings for Lucas and the latter seemed torn between the two ladies. In "GMW" Season 3, however, Lucas' decision appears to become clearer with every episode.

Now, a recent tweet from the show's writers seemingly offers explanation that this love triangle in "Girl Meets World" Season 3 was never a triangle at all. Josh (Uriah Shelton) will be returning to the upcoming episode of the show titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge."

As most fans can recall, Maya has liked Josh in the past before she turned her attention to Lucas. In "Girl Meets World" Season 3, Maya and Josh will have a reunion and this may ultimately end the love triangle with Riley and Lucas.
