'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Air Date, News & Update: Could Abbie Mills Nicole Beharie's Call To Support S4 Save Ichabod Crane Series?

"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 received support from "Jacob's Ladder" actress Nicole Beharie, who played Abbie Mills. However, the fallout of Abbie Mills' death in the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 finale may be too strong despite Nicole Beharie calling on fans to support Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) who continues in S4.

At the moment, Abbie Mills' absence sets "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 on a shaky start. However, producers are hopeful that the "Sleepy Hollow" premise is strong enough to change the focus from Abbie Mills to Ichabod Crane in Season 4.

CinemaBlend cites FOX in highlighting that the Ichabod Crane version by Tom Mison is an original take on the "Sleepy Hollow" classic. "It's a very original premise and we felt that it had greater life in it," FOX said.

Nicole Beharie was also quick to highlight that her Abbie Mills exit from the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 finale is without hard feelings. Nicole Beharie said on social media that she will be watching with fans over Ichabod Crane after Abbie Mills' death at the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere.

Production for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 is underway as TVLine reports that Tom Mison and recurring "SH" cast will not be at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con line up. Tom Mison will be taking Ichabod Crane into a Washington organization for a very different "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4.

Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny Mills) will recur with returning and new cast members for a "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 without Abbie Mills. FOX is expected to release The "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere this fall.
