'F1 2016' Spikes The Support To Enable 22 Players, Will Manual Starts Add To The Thrill?

"F1 2016" has multiplayer support as announced by Codemasters in a press release. It can support up to 22 players. It has manual starts and formation lap.

'F1 2016' Features Safety Car, Virtual Safety Car And Manual Starts

It was earlier announced by Codemasters that both the Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car will feature in "F1 2016" game. To add pressure on the driver as they sit on the grid, these features will be complemented by the addition of manual race starts.

The "F1 2016" players will also get to engage the clutch and balance the revs while they will have to wait for the lights to go out. A driver should have excellent reaction times so as to avoid a jump start by going too early. As the anti-stall engages, it will also help them to avoid getting stuck on the grid.

The "F1 2016" features will also enable the driver to have manual control over their pit lane entry. Braking is enabled so that they can minimize the time they lose when pitting.

To avoid penalty for speeding in the pit lane, they will also need to brake in time. "F1 2016" game includes these features along with the new five second pit stop penalty, reported Playstation Lifestyle.

Codemasters also wanted to add the full 22-player races to "F1 2016." This is because they want "to be able to fill the whole grid with human players to create those great race moments and stories. It also provides greater support for online leagues," said the principal game designer Lee Mather.
