'Emily Wants To Play' Latest News & Release Date: Survival Horror Game To Be Released On PS4: Xbox One Version Coming On That Same Day?

Imagine getting trapped in a house with a mangled looking girl who just wants somebody to play with her and her dolls? A new child-themed horror game could easily let anyone do the unthinkable with the natural order of things, in "Emily Wants To Play".

From talking about going to the bathroom to getting the craziest scared-beyond-your-wits' gaming experience, the minds behind it are truly expecting those kinds of reactions from anyone who peeks in the new "Emily Wants To Play" game. Although it is an adrenaline-kick ride, it doesn't feature anything bloody or gore-related at all, in a Playstation blog post.

'Emily Wants To Play' Is Scary On Its Own Playing

The theme of "Emily Wants To Play" revolves around an unsuspecting pizza delivery guy whom Emily plays prisoner within the house on invite to play with her dolls, as part of the guy's last delivery for the night. In "Emily Wants To Play", the pizza guy goes through everything in the game, with the sole objective to survive till morning.

Through the pizza delivery guy's view, players encounter not just Emily and her dolls in the house. Players also get to know the weird story behind her parents, as well as meeting more creepy dolls. The plot for "Emily Wants To Play" is truly scary enough. Remember the "Clown" movie?

'Emily Wants To Play' Equals 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Shawn Hitchcock, the brain behind "Emily Wants To Play" revealed the game's background in a Geeky-Gadgets post. The game's house and everything in/around it was modeled after his own New Orleans childhood home. As a very old place with many strange and weird events that transpired during his stay, it was a perfect horror game plot and setting for "Emily Wants To Play".

It was a frighteningly firsthand experience, as well as many all-nighters doing "Emily Wants To Play", added Hitchcock. The characters' presence to him felt as real as possible during its development, and that they could spring to life.

"Emily Wants To Play" is scheduled for release by August 9 this year on PS4 for $4.99. There's no confirmed information about the game release for Xbox One version on that same day. We'll update you as soon as we hear more.
