'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 1 Update, Release Date; Glenn Gets Killed By Negan?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and three other previous cast members are back for The Walking Dead Season 7, plus all of them have been upgraded to series regulars. Joining Morgan as Season 7's regular cast members are Austin Amelio, Tom Payne, and Xander Berkeley respectively.

What's New For The Walking Dead Season 7?

A recent Den of Geek report surmised that Scott Gimple may have been studying Robert Kirkman's comics intently that the newly promoted series regulars are likely to portray important roles when The Walking Dead Season 7 begins. One of the things that fans are still kept guessing is the Season 6 finale, which showed Dean Morgan killing someone.

So far, The Walking Dead casts have been really protective as to who the poor fellow is. Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron, however revealed that he knows who Negan's victim was in the Season 6 finale episode. Marquand also said that the victim's identity kept spoiler sites at bay as to who it really was, with AMC maintaining utmost confidentiality on the matter.

So, who did Negan kill really?

Marquand further hinted at the idea of him being one of those people as Negan's victim: that Negan's comeback in The Walking Dead Season 7 could shift decisions for the existing group of runners as he is a fresh threat, again. And it is pretty obvious that someone's not joining the group anymore.

On the other hand, the IBTimes got wind of The Walking Dead casts members coming to this year's San Diego Comic-Con on July 22. Attendees would get to have a firsthand impression of what really happened during the Season 6 finale, with main man Scott Gimple and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero sharing key points for The Walking Dead Season 7.

The Walking Dead season regulars Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Danai Gurira, Andrew Lincoln, and Chandler Riggs are among those who will be at the 2016 SDCC event, while Chris Hardwick of "Talking Dead" will be the panel moderator. Think The Walking Dead Season 7 would be grittier than ever?
