‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Delayed? Production Awaits The Coming Of WInter, Essence of the Weather Needed for Filming Upcoming Season

The "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is going to be premiered late next year. The fans of the show are already upset when they learnt that the next season is going to be a short one. Now, is it going to be delayed too?

The show runners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said that they have to delay the filming of the next season of "Game of Thrones" as they have to capture the 'true essence of winter.' The grey gloom is not yet there as they require it. So, the producers have to wait for the summer to end to start production.

The show has always aired all its seasons in April since it debuted in 2011. The producers were asked if the next season will also debut in the same way. The makers of the show confirmed that it was not quite possible.

"No ... we don't have an airdate yet, but this year it'll probably be a bit later, 'cause we're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, winter is here, and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line so we could get some grim, gray weather, even in the sunnier places that we shoot," they replied.

Until now, only the Night's Watch have been preparing for the White Walkers. However, now every living being's existence is under threat as the White Walkers are now heading towards them.

In this scenario, winter is essential in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The climax will include grey and gloomy scenes.

The Season 6 of the series, which concluded recently, premiered on April 24. HBO has not yet said anything on an airdate for "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

Sansa Stark had announced that 'Winter is coming.' However, it is definitely coming a little slower than usual. The fans who are devoted to the show might not be able to watch the Season 7 in April as usual.
