Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ Latest News & Updates: Ubisoft To Launch New ‘Client’ Update Amid Criticisms And Negative Reviews; Ubisoft’s Bestselling Game A ‘Disappointment’ To Gamers?

Oh no! Tom Clancy's "The Division" is currently facing the wrath of several critics as the game has been continuously plagued with technical glitches and bugs. Despite Ubisoft's efforts in launching several updates, server maintenance and hotfixes to resolve the issues and improve the game, the latest "The Division" reviews have been mostly negative.

From the time when Tom Clancy's "The Division" was released in March, the open world third-person shooter video game has been considered as Ubisoft's most successful title, Parent Herald previously reported. In fact, "The Division" broke several records, making several game experts to believe that it might leave other games in its shadows.

Critics Slam Tom Clancy's 'The Division'

Today, however, Tom Clancy's "The Division" is bombarded with tons of unfavorable criticisms and reviews. In fact, IGN only gave the game a score of 5.8 out of 10, noting the game "did not offer anything particularly rewarding."

In addition, Tom Clancy's "The Division: Underground" DLC is also a "huge disappointment" to fans and gamers in spite of the changes brought into the game, Mobile & Apps notes. Other critics also said that the game's latest DLC still lacks content.

Tom Clancy's 'The Division' Matchmaking A Disaster?

Aside from its content, Tom Clancy's "The Division" matchmaking appears to be having some issues too. Even though the game allows players to "matchmake for anything," Paul Tassi of Forbes said "The Division" matchmaking is definitely "far from perfect."

"Matchmaking in The Division is far from perfect, and in many regards, creates some of the game's worst situations between vote-kicking group leaders, perma-wiping undergeared teams and unpredictable Dark Zone allies," Tassi wrote.

Tassi also pointed out Tom Clancy's "The Division" problems are more on the game itself, and not on its matchmaking for high level activities. In his article, Tassi outlined the "myriad" of issues gamers experienced in Tom Clancy's "The Division."

Ubisoft To Launch New 'Client' Update For Tom Clancy's "The Division'

Ubisoft is reportedly gearing up for another Tom Clancy's "The Division" update. Based on the report from BreatheCast, the game's next Client update will be released for the game to fix several issues, including the erroneous and lack of stats for the AlphaBridge Gloves, excessive weapon damage for the G36, recalibration of the Showstopper and PP-19, map's failure to load and Pulse Scan's failure to detect enemies.

Additionally, Tom Clancy's "The Division" upcoming Client Update will also fix other issues while some are still under investigation. As seen on Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's "The Division" forum, the next Client Update will be released on Tuesday, Jul. 12.
