Apple Preparing To Axe MacBook Air

Due to this, there are rumors that Apple will axe MacBook Air in their lineup. The Bitbag suggested that the lack of details or information about MacBook Air 2016, compared to MacBook Pro 2016 could mean that Apple will be killing the Air lineup.

However, Parent Herald previously reported that this is not true. Apple will not remove MacBook Air. It will stay on the market together with MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook. Unfortunately, Apple will not upgrade it, hence the lack of information about its update.

MacBook Pro 2016 Will Be The New Apple Flagship

Despite the buzz surrounding the killing of MacBook Air, many remain hopeful about MacBook Pro 2016. NeuroGadget previously reported that the new MacBook Pro will be Apple's new flagship and it will come with a major revamp.
