Apple iPhone 7 Vs. Samsung Note 7: August 2 Launch For Samsung Phablet Could Put New Apple Phone in a More Dangerous Spot

The smartphone battle continues with the iPhone 7 vs. Note 7. Now that Samsung has already announced their new phablet's release date, can tech junkies expect Apple to follow suit?

Previous iPhone 7 vs. Note 7 leaks and reports suggest that things are looking bleak for the new Apple flagship phone. Based on the leaked features and photos, users are suggesting that the new Note will have more note-worthy improvements than the new iPhone.

According to The Verge, users will finally get to see the Note 7 when Samsung officially unveils it in an August 2, 2016 event in New York. A Forbes report noted that it will be available in three colors- Black Onyx, Blue Coral and Silver Titanium. The new Note will also feature a curved "Edge" display like the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Meanwhile, iPhone 7 vs. Note 7 rumors are rife that the iPhone 6's successor will also have a Fall launch. Previous leaks claimed that Apple has reportedly made "last minute" changes to its newest flagship phone. After three years, the Space Black variant will reportedly be made available once again. The new iPhone will reportedly have five variants- Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Space Gray and the rumored Space Black.

Other iPhone 7 vs. Note 7 leaks also revealed that the iPhone 7 might be opting out of its 64GB storage option. As the report noted, the tech giant might just offer a 32GB entry level model followed by a 128GB midrange and 256GB top end.

9 to 5 Mac noted that the iPhone 7 could also have a new home button that will have waterproof and dustproof capabilities. The site also hinted on that a Smart Connector could be included in the new phone.
