Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are believed to be reuniting in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 since the upcoming season is rumored to be its last. Since news of the former couple's reunion made rounds online, several reports claimed that Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed, is already feeling threatened of their reunion.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were recently spotted at the airport to catch a plane going to Atlanta, GA, MailOnline reports. The married couple was spotted sporting a casual wear as they made their way to LAX.

As most fans of The CW series know, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is filmed in this location. Several fans expressed their thoughts and said that Reed may have tagged along with Somerhalder in order to keep him away from Dobrev.

Reed allegedly feels threatened of Dobrev's return in "TVD" Season 8 because there has always been some special chemistry between Dobrev and Somerhalder. However, some fans noted that Reed has been tagging along Somerhalder's set locations even in the past seasons of The CW drama.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life notes that Reed is not in any way bothered about the possible reunion between Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. According to the publication, Somerhalder and Reed are "so in love" with each other that nothing that could tear them apart.
