Up until now, the world is still waiting for any reports and updates regarding Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery. Unfortunately, little has been known about his current health status due to the ongoing media blackout requested by the Schumacher family.

On Dec. 29, 2013, the world of racing was left in shock when reports emerged that one of Formula One's (F1) most celebrated racers Michael Schumacher had an unfortunate skiing accident during their family's holiday vacation at the French Alpine Resort of Meribel in France. Due to the severity of the head trauma he sustained during the accident, Schumacher was placed in a medically induced coma for six months.

Michael Schumacher came out of his coma on Jun. 16, 2014 and was discharged from the hospital. The 47-year-old seven-time F1 champ was then transferred to a highly-secured and state-of-the-art custom built suite in his mansion in Geneva, Switzerland, where he undergoes an extensive rehabilitation program.

Authenticity Of Michael Schumacher's Latest Medical Bulletins Questioned?

Michael Schumacher's current health condition has long been a mystery, with little to no real-time medical bulletins and inconclusive updates. But recently, Schumacher's longtime manager Sabine Kehm and close friend Luca Di Montezemolo have both released statements suggesting they're hopeful for Schumi's full recovery.

Those statements, however, do not blatantly confirm that Michael Schumacher's health condition is indeed improving. Movie News Guide even suggested that the statements were "deceptive," making fans questioned its authenticity.

Media Blackout Hiding Michael Schumacher's Family's Most Kept Secrets?

The whole world already knew how important keeping one's privacy to Michael Schumacher's family. In fact, they have requested a media blackout to keep Schumacher's medical bulletin under close warps.

Even though the media blackout made Michael Schumacher's family a target for criticisms, Kehm recently stressed that things will remain that way as the Schumachers are really firm in their decision on keeping their privacy, a previous Parent Herald report noted.

"We all know that I cannot comment," Kehm said, FOX Sports quotes. "We just have to accept that the family wants to continue to protect their privacy. Of course, Michael will not disappear but at the moment the private situation is so difficult that unfortunately no insight can be given. There must be understanding for this."

Unfortunately, several fans are apparently not convinced that the ongoing media blackout is to protect Michael Schumacher's family. As a matter of fact, Movie News Guide reports that many fans believed Schumi's family is hiding some secrets "behind the privacy façade."

Kehm, however, had previously explained the reason why Michael Schumacher's family requested a media blackout. According to Kehm, the family decided not to divulge any information about the German legend's health condition to avoid unwarranted speculations and misinterpretations from the press and the public.

"At the moment, I see no alternative," Kehm said, as per Zee News. "Every sentence is a catalyst for new inquiries, every word is a beacon for further information. It never dies down."

Michael Schumacher's Family Remains Hopeful For Schumi's Recovery

Meanwhile, in Kehm's previous update in February, Michael Schumacher's longtime manager said that she and Schumi's family are still hopeful and optimistic that the F1 racer will "one day be back with us." But she also denied the reports from a German publication claiming that Schumacher was walking again, International Business Times reports.

Despite the snowballing medical costs and the uncertainties on Michael Schumacher's recovery, his family is still not giving. In fact, they continue to support and give Michael the best medical treatment available. As for diehard Schumacher fans, the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael continues to be a trending plea on social media.
