‘Supernatural’ Season 12 Air Date & Spoilers: Jensen Ackles Teases Return Of Sam And Dean’s Ally

"Supernatural" Season 12 will see the fate of the Winchester brothers - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) after the Earth was close to coming to an end. Ackles recently shared a teaser photo for the upcoming season, which showed the return of the Winchester brothers' ally, reports International Business Times.

In the said photo, Ackles showed Dean's car, a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala. Ackles noted that his favorite car will be returning in "Supernatural" Season 12 with him.

The publication notes that this car may be Dean's close ally in search of his brother Sam now that his fate remains uncertain after the Season 11 finale. "Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers note that the upcoming season will see whether or not Sam made it out alive.

Aside from this, fans and viewers will also see the implications of their mother's return in "Supernatural" Season 12. As seen in the Season 11 finale, Sam and Dean's mother returned as Amara's gift to Sam.

Misha Collins also told Nerdist that "Supernatural" Season 12 is all about going "back to the show's roots." Collins also expressed his desire to see Castiel return to his "badass, warrior quality" that was seen in the previous seasons of The CW drama.

However, Collins noted that none of his expectations about his character were ever met. It is also believed that the Men of Letters will be the big bad in "Supernatural" Season 12.

"Supernatural" Season 12 premieres on Oct. 13 on The CW.
