Tom Brady Overjoyed to Get a Daughter after Two Sons

New dad Tom Brady is excited to have a daughter after two sons.

The 35-year-old New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen welcomed daughter Vivian Lake Dec.5.  Brady married Bundchen in 2009. The couple have a 3-year-old son named Benjamin. Brady has a 5-year-old son, John, with previous girlfriend model and actress Bridget Moynahan.

During an interview with ESPN recently, the proud father talked about the new addition to the family.

"I'm in trouble!" Brady said, laughing. "I grew up in a house with three sisters. I think it's great for my boys to have a girl in the house, just to understand at least a little bit about what makes a woman tick -- not that I can certainly figure that out, because I can't. She's a beautiful little girl."

Brady is not ready to compromise his family for career.

"I love playing football. I love coming to work every day," Brady told ESPN. "But also, being at home, and giving those boys my attention, and my affection, and my discipline, and being a good parent is so important, because I grew up with two of the best parents a son could ever ask for."

Speculation about Brady and Bundchen expecting their second child started spreading in late May. However, the couple kept mum on the subject. Vivian was born at home. Bundchen announced their daughter's birth on Facebook.

"We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel," Bundchen wrote, along with a photo of her daughter's little hand. "She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings."
