It was also reported that because of a supposed upcoming family drama, it will ruin Leonard and Penny's plans to be married once again in front of their family and friends.

Christian Post reported that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 finale showed Leonard and Penny's pre-wedding dinner. In it, the father of Leonard, Alfred, and the mother of Sheldon, Mary, got along very well as they both hate Leonard's mother. The two then excused themselves and both Leonard and Sheldon were worried about their parents as they have not heard from them since they disappeared from the pre-wedding dinner.

The parents of Sheldon and Leonard also turned their mobile phones off in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 finale. They also were staying at the same hotel so it is possible that the two have been fooling around making fans speculate that the two will fall in love and will eventually lead to Leonard and Shelton being stepbrothers.

'The Big Bang Theory' EP Steve Molaro Confirms Sexual Tension Between Alfred, Mary

Steve Molaro, the executive producer of "The Big Bang Theory" did reveal that there possibly is sexual tension between Alfred and Mary. This will be affecting their children as Leonard and Sheldon will do everything that they can to stop the two from getting married or falling in love.

Molaro also shared that there could be a possible storyline between the parents of Raj and that of Bernadette on "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. Details about this are not revealed. The parents of Penny will also be showing up and her mother will reportedly be shown since in the past, only her father was shown on screen.
