Mariah Carey Nick Cannon Divorce: Twins Split Time Between New York & New Jersey

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's marriage may be over but co-parenting is always a priority to the pair. Perez Hilton reported that Cannon revealed twins, Moroccan and Monroe, will divide their living locations between New Jersey and New York. He made the announcement at St. Mary's Children Hospital in New York City while promoting his new children's book, "Neon Aliens Ate My Homework."

The "America's Got Talent" host lives in New Jersey, while the twins' mother lives in New York. The twins and their parents used to live in Carey's Tribeca townhouse in the Big Apple when the stars were still together. US Magazine reported that Cannon just bought a home in New Jersey right after he separated from soon to be ex-wife, Mariah Carey.

Cannon was open in declaring his happiness for the living arrangement that not many kids get to have, "I mean, it's another area for family... To be able to have a lawn and a lake in the back - stuff like that. I grew up in the projects, so I didn't really get the opportunity to have any of that growing up. Even in the city. My kids kind of get to experience both worlds. They get Manhattan and a little bit of Jersey."

The host also revealed that his twins get to choose their things in their bedrooms for their new homes, "Yeah, they did it all, they did it all themselves... It was kind of cool watching them pick out all their stuff. My daughter's picking out all the princess stuff. My son's picking out all the car stuff. So it was fun!"

Meanwhile, E! Online reported that Carey's ex-husband is now seeing model Jessica White. However, the pair is allegedly keeping their relationship low-key since the Carey-Cannon divorce is yet to be finalized.

White has been a friend of Cannon's for some time now. Their friendship developed into something more when the twins' parents separated. White allegedly stood by the host as a friend right after his marriage to the singer broke down.

An insider revealed that, "Jessica been in the studio lately and Nick has been very supportive with her focusing on her music career and giving her some great pointers and direction as she explores her talents. They been spending lots of time together and Nick really enjoys Jessica's free spirit and easy going attitude for life."
