'Fast and Furious 7' Cast Vin Diesel Names Daughter After Paul Walker; Name Revealed Here

Vin Diesel's new bundle of joy's name has been announced! E! Online reported that the "Fast and the Furious" series star named his newborn daughter after the late Paul Walker. Diesel's "Furious" co-star influenced Diesel's fatherhood values so much that he named his daughter, "Pauline."

The actor spilled the beans on Monday when he appeared on "The Today" show. Diesel explained his reason for naming his daughter after Walker on the show:

"There's no other person that I'm thinking about as I'm cutting this umbilical cord."

"I knew he was there and I felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my memory, a part of my world."

"Today" host Natalie Morales was the first person whom Diesel trusted his secret to, said the actor.

The actor told the world about the birth of his third child via Facebook on March 16. Pauline is now the little sister of two older children Diesel has with girlfriend, Paloma Jimenez, namely Hania Riley, 6 and Vincent, 4.

Diesel shared a picture of Hania and Walker having fun in order to commemorate the late actor's one year death anniversary. The actor captioned the photo on Facebook back then with the following message:

"He was a part of so much in my life...long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel...he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo."

Diesel's latest starrer, "Fast and the Furious 7" had its pre-release screening last week at South by South West festival in Austin, Texas. The movie will hit theaters nationwide on April 3, as Sky News reported.

At the pre-screening of "Furious 7" in Texas, Diesel made a sentimental speech about his late colleague and friend, as reported in CBC Canada:

"This was a labour of love. It was in some ways the hardest movie I ever had to do because the relationships that you see on film are so real. When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother."

"Fast and the Furious 7" was the last film Walker had starred in. The actor was killed in a car accident on November 30, 2013 in Santa Clarita, California. Roger Rodas, the actor's friend, was behind the wheel with Walker when the accident occurred. Rodas also lost his life together with the actor. As per results of the investigation, speed was the main cause of the fatal accident.
