ABC Threatens Ben Higgins To Drop His Political Candidacy Or He Will Lose Millions

Parent Herald previously reported that Ben Higgins is running for a seat in the Colorado State House. His candidacy is not a surprise to many because the "Bachelor" star is very open to his plans in joining the political race.

Unfortunately, after a week, Parent Herald reported that he dropped his candidacy because ABC pressured him to do so. Only limited details were known at the time, but recent reports suggest that the network threatened Ben Higgins. It's his political dreams versus his career on the TV.

According to Wetpaint, ABC threatened Ben Higgins to stop his wedding with Lauren Bushnell and take his "Bachelor" cash back. The whole process will cost Ben Higgins millions.

A source close to the "Bachelor" star claimed that ABC's parent company Disney doesn't want the "Bachelor" franchise to be "muddled with politics." Hence, Ben Higgins political ambition is a big no-no while he maintains his career with ABC.

JoJo Fletcher Excited For Lauren Bushnell And Ben Higgins' Upcoming Reality Show

The "Bachelorette" JoJo Fletcher was close to winning Ben Higgins' heart in the last "Bachelor" season. If she did, perhaps, the upcoming reality show would be "Ben and JoJo: Happily Ever After" and not "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After."

However, JoJo Fletcher has moved on and is even excited for Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins' new reality show. "That's so exciting! I just talked to Lauren the other day and I am just excited for them," she told Entertainment Tonight.
