"Teen Wolf" Season 6 spoilers reveal that there will be a time jump when the MTV series returns this fall. In an interview with Dylan Sprayberry, the actor revealed the premiere will not pick up from where the show left off last season, reports Design & Trend.

"We pick the next season a little bit further ahead where we left off in the last season," he said.

Sprayberry teased that in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, "Layden" fans will see Liam and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) more mature than they were in the past season. The actor added that their relationship has become stronger than ever because of their emotional maturity.

"They've become mature as individuals and as partners, which was really fun to play," added Sprayberry.

There have been speculations that while "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will serve as the series finale, a "Teen Wolf" spinoff series may be created. This spinoff series is believed to focus on Liam as he is being poised to become the next Teen Wolf after Scott McCall (Tyler Posey).

Meanwhile, Tyler Posey said during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 is about to raise the bar in terms of its characters and plot, states PopSugar. Posey shared that the show is not afraid of including LGBT representation on the show because it is what the show is all about.

"We've dealt with struggling with identity since day one, with Scott McCall," he said.

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premieres this fall on MTV.
