Tom Hiddleston As The Next James Bond: Taylor Swift Pulls Strings To Help Boyfriend Get The Role?

Tom Hiddleston's publicized romance with girlfriend Taylor Swift may have dropped him off the list of potential new James Bond actors, but it looks like his relationship may help him get the role. A recent report suggests that the "Hiddleswift" couple recently went to Los Angeles to meet with directors to discuss the role as the next agent 007.

Reports on Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston dating shocked the entire nation. While several fans gave their support for the "Hiddleswift" couple, many fans thought that romance was very unlikely to bloom between the two.

Since photos of Swift and Hiddleston's PDA made rounds online, The Week reports that this may have lost Hiddleston the chance to become the next James Bond. Hiddleston was one of the leading contenders in the list of actors being poised to play as the next agent 007.

"Bond needs an air of mystery - his public romance with Taylor has made him totally uncastable," an insider shared.

While such may be the case, it looks like Tom Hiddleston is not ready to give up on the role as the next James Bond just yet. According to Page Six, Hiddleston is using his girlfriend, Taylor Swift's connections to get the role.

Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift were recently spotted in LA, which fuelled speculations that the couple was there to meet with directors for the next James Bond movie. Swift is allegedly pulling the strings and using her power in the industry to get her boyfriend as the next James Bond.

However, a recent statement from a Hollywood source revealed that the Bond producers are not in a hurry to find a new actor for the next Bond movie. No casting will reportedly be done until the end of their contract with Sony Pictures.

There are also rumors that Daniel Craig may be back for another James Bond movie. Barbara Broccoli is reportedly keen on getting him back despite Craig's statements during "Spectre" that he would "rather break this glass and slit my wrists than play 007 again."
