NBA Trade Rumors:Blazers To Trade Mason Plumlee And Al-Farouq Aminu To Have Nikola Vucevic In The Team?

One of the hottest NBA trade rumors today involves Orlando Magic and Portland Trail Blazers. According to reports, Blazers should trade Mason Plumlee and Al-Farouq Aminu for Magic's center Nikola Vucevic.

Orlando Magic made a bold move in the recent NBA draft by trading a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team trade Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and Domantas Sabonis to have OKC's Serge Ibaka. Aside from this, they signed Bismack Biyombo.

According to Sports Rageous, the Magic signed Bismack Biyombo to an impressive four-year deal worth $72 million. Biyombo and Nikola Vucevic have the same position, so the big question is who will be the starter. Vucevic doesn't want to be a backup, which triggers the report that if Magic favors Biyombo, we might find Vucevic off the bench or traded somewhere.

"I believe I will be the starter - the best player on the team, and the guy who has been here the longest," Vucevic said per ESPN. "I'm not taking anything away from Bismack. I just believe I should start."

Meanwhile, per the report, Portland Trail Blazers has a solid backcourt with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. However, the team needs to upgrade their front court.

Blazer signed Festus Ezeli for their frontcourt but the former Golden State Warriors center is not a good starter, which gives room for Nikola Vucevic, who wish to be the starter for Magic. With Vucevic as Blazer's starter, the team would have a stronger hold for the NBA league.

Per the report, Nikola Vucevic has been the best player for the Orlando Magic for the past two NBA seasons and it will not be wise to have him as a backup. With a multi-million deal for Bismack Biyombo and if Magic is confident with him, Dave Deckard of SB Nation suggests that the team trade Vucevic to Portland Trail Blazers. Blazer's Mason Plumlee and Al-Farouq Aminu will make a great backup for Biyombo.
