‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 News, Spoilers & Air Date: Adult Swim Confirms Interdimensional Cable Story; Third Season to Come This December?

Fans of the popular 'Rick and Morty' Season 3 are feasting their eyes as Adult Swim provided two clips before its much awaited release later this year. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon talked about the upcoming "Rick and Morty" and they did not disappoint.

During the San Diego Comic Con, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon discussed the production and storyline of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. According to Christian Daily, the first two seasons were more focused on serialized storytelling, for its third season Roiland admitted that they still have not figured out where the storytelling would go.

According to the creators of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, there is still a possibility of Interdimensional Cable story telling where Rick and Morty would watch commercials and then reacts to what they are watching. The creator also specified that the upcoming "Rick and Morty" will definitely have more surprises that fans would definitely love.

Justin Roiland also said that the writers for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 are also busy connecting their ideas.  At the San Diego Comic Con, Roiland asked the audience about what they think of Interdimensional cable.

"We're literally deciding whether or not to do 'interdimensional Cable 3,'"Roiland said. The audience cheered with the announcement. "So that's the 'yes we want it," now can we hear from those who are like 'nah, can we see something else,' anybody?" he asked.

Roiland was further asked about distorted universes for "Rick and Morty" Season 3, which the creator acknowledged as a difficult production since they Adult Swim really wants to create an amazing season 3. He did admitted that there may be a room for both but did not elaborate the question further.

While Adult Swim or any of the creators has not yet mentioned the exact date of the upcoming air date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, they did confirm that Rick and his pal Morty will come back later this year. Its IMDB page also showed a 2016 to 2017 air date which could indicate that "Rick and Morty" could be released on November or December 2016 until the months of January to February.
