Rio Olympics 2016 Stars That Part Time As Parents

It is one thing to be an Olympian but to be an Olympian and be a parent is just like juggling planets. However, these Rio Olympics 2016 stars have proven that not only are they great as athletes, they are also great parents.

Michael Phelps

The most decorated Olympian of all time is going into the Rio Olympics 2016 with a record 22 medals, 18 of which are also a record number of golds. Phelps, who competes in the Olympics for the last time, however, had an ever better prize earlier this year when his son, Boomer Robert Phelps, was born.

Andy Murray

The Scottish tennis player, ranked No. 2 in the world, had a daughter in February named Sophia Olivia. The daughter of Team Great Britain’s flag bearer will be proud for sure when he sees old Rio Olympics 2016 clips of his dad in the future.

Kerri Walsh Jennings

The 37-year old American beach volleyball player will be heading into the Rio Olympics 2016 under huge pressure after three consecutive gold medals in Athens, Beijing and London. In fact, she was five weeks pregnant when she competed in 2012. She has two other sons. She already won her first match with April Ross against Australia on Saturday, according to SB Nation.

Kim Rhode

The American double trap and skeet shooter had a son with husband Mike Harryman in 2013 just before she started her preparations for the Rio Olympics 2016. She has won three gold medals so far.

Kelly Griffin

The American rugby player has two children with wife, Ashley, and will be one of the players in the Rio Olympics 2016 team of the United States in the debut year of women's rugby in the Olympics.

Hoàng Xuân Vinh

The shooting star became an underdog star of the Rio Olympics 2016 when he became the very first Vietnamese to win an Olympic gold medal for his country, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The 41-year old is a private person but he did acknowledge that he has a wife and a young girl back home.
