NBA Trade Rumors: Los Angeles’ Trade: Jordan Clarkson, Jahlil Okafor Will Fit Only Philadelphia 76ers

The center position in the team is often argued upon in the NBA rumor circles. However, after the first big signing of Timofey Mozgov at the beginning of the offseason, the L.A. Lakers do not face that problem anymore. They have three professional basketball players to take the position at the center on their roster lineup. The fans of the team are not completely satisfied.

The latest NBA rumor revolving around Lakers is the team is in discussion with Philadelphia 76ers. They are contemplating to trade Jordan Clarkson for Jahlil Okafor. However, we do not know if this rumor has any wing to it or not, reported Inquisitr.

It is, however, very unlikely that the LA Lakers will put Clarkson on the trading block. This is because the player has just secured a new contract deal. Jahlil Okafor has already been on the trading block for over a month. Even if LA Lakers wants to send Jordan Clarkson to the Philadelphia, the organization should have completed a sign-and-trade deal.

Philadelphia 76ers will benefit a lot if Jordan Clarkson joins them. The team desperately needs someone who can play at the point-guard position and also needs a scoring guard. Jahlil Okafor's contribution to the Lakers' is questionable as he has not played with a starting point guard. Often, he has ended up taking the scoring load on his shoulders.
