NBA Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls More Interested In Signing DeMarcus Cousins After Boogie's Huge Score In Rio Olympic

DeMarcus Cousins is one of the favorite picks in the NBA trade rumors. According to reports, the Sacramento Kings center could land into Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors or Milwaukee Bucks. However, reports have it that Chicago Bulls is getting more interested in Boogie after he scored horde of points in the Rio Olympics 2016.

In the past months, there have been speculations that DeMarcus Cousins might join the Chicago Bulls. However, the reports did not progress. But with Cousins playing so well in the Rio Olympics 2016, Bulls' interest for Boogie has been reignited.

According to Centrio Times, Chicago Bulls is building their team with former Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade and former Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo. Wade and Rondo are set to play with Jimmy Butler for the upcoming 2016-17 NBA season.

After acquiring Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo, Chicago Bulls also lost some of their key players in the free agent, including Derrick Rose, Paul Gasol and Jaokim Noah. Rumors have it that DeMarcus Cousins will be a great addition to Bulls alongside Wade and Rondo.

The report notes that Bulls need a shooter, they need to score more in the forthcoming NBA season and with DeMarcus Cousins performance in the Rio Olympics 2016, there is no doubt that Boogie is a smart choice. The report notes that DeMarcus Cousins scored 17 points and five rebounds in the Rio Olympics 2016, where the U.S. National Basketball Team beat China.

However, Chicago Bulls is not alone in their interest in getting DeMarcus Cousins. Fansided suggests that DeMarcus Cousins could join the Golden State Warriors.
