Miranda Kerr Opens Up About Transferring To Malibu To Co-Parent With Orlando Bloom, Reveals They Want To Be A Close-Knit Family

Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr and her former husband, actor Orland Bloom, remain amicable for the sake of their child and she recently revealed that she has made some moves in order to efficiently co-parent with him. This includes having to transfer to Malibu as she revealed that she and Bloom want a close-knit family for their son Flynn.

The 33-year-old mother-of-one and the 39-year-old actor divorced back in 2013 and Kerr shared in her interview with Harper's Bazaar that they are geographically close in order to co-parent better for their five-year-old child. She recently transferred to Malibu, California after she looked for a residence near where Bloom lives, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Kerr shared that she and Bloom previously lived in New York and they loved it there but they considered transferring to cater to the best interests of Flynn. She noted that Bloom has a place in Malibu and said that he wanted to move there so they felt living in California will result to a better lifestyle for Flynn as he could play outside for the whole year. She also shared, "I started looking for houses because he wanted to be close as a family."

Kerr and Flynn are happy at their new home as they have been posting photos on her Instagram account. They have their own kale, strawberries, blueberries, and lemons since Kerr has an organic lifestyle. Kerr's fiancé, 26-year-old Snapchat CEO Even Spiegel, is also supportive of her as he recently purchased a Skywater 300 for her. The machine draws moisture from the humidity in the air in order to produce water for the entire home, The Hamilton Spectator reported.

Aside from that, Kerr also loves the grand piano and the great kitchen of her new Malibu home. She revealed that her grandmother influenced her so much about what she wants in a home and how she wants to maintain a close-knit family with Bloom despite their separation.

Kerr is currently busy planning her wedding to Spiegel while Bloom has been on a recent PDA-filled vacation with his girlfriend Katy Perry.
