iOS Jailbreak Updates: Apple's iOS 9.3.4 Makes Latest Pangu Jailbreak Useless; Pangu To Release iOS 10 Jailbreak?

iOS Jailbreak 9.3.3 is now useless. Apple has recently released iOS 9.3.4. This is a minor software update for all devices like iPhone 4s and newer, iPad 2 and newer, all iPad Pro and iPad Mini tablets and the fifth- and sixth-gen iPod touch that run iOS 9.

Apple, on Friday Aug 4, released a critical security update. This is said to fix all issues that and permits several applications to "execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges."

"A memory corruption issue was addressed through improved memory handling," said the description which was on the Apple support page with relation to the update. This, literally, ensured that the iOS jailbreak released by Pangu is useless.

Ironically, Apple credited Team Pangu for the help that they rendered to find the bug. Pangu is a prominent Chinese jailbreaking group. This makes it crystal clear iOS 9.3.4, released by Apple, will also fix Pangu's exploit used in the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak system.

Though Apple cautions its users against using the jailbreak, there are many users who eagerly await for Pangu to release the jailbreaks. Apple states that using jailbreak can make the devices more vulnerable to security threats, shorten battery life and will not be able to enjoy iOS updates. In July, Team Pangu released a tool that allowed users to jailbreak their iOS devices. By doing so, the users can bypass Apple's restriction and can take advantage features and software that are not approved the company, reported MobileNApps.

This update - the iOS 9.3.4 will be the last one for the iOS 9 series. Apple is all set to release iOS 10 version in early September. This comes along with new Apple iOS devices. iOS 10 boasts of a redesigned Messages app, a new Photos app equipped with an object and facial recognition, a new lock screen mechanism, and an updated Music app, among others.

On the other hand, there are reports that iOS 9.3.4 firmware is still jailbreak friendly. A popular hacker posted a picture which revealed his jailbroken iPhone 6s that's running on iOS 9.3.4. However, we have to take this news with a pinch of salt as it can be faked easily, reported N4BB.

Will iOS 10 release just a month away, will Pangu release an iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak? It is rumored that Pangu is busy working on an iOS 10 jailbreak. However, there are no reports to validate the claim.
