NBA Trade Rumors: Nick Young Stays With Los Angeles Lakers? No More Kenneth Faried, Gay Harris For LA Lakers?

Reports have surfaced saying that Nick Young and Julius Randle of the Los Angeles Lakers will be traded to Denver Nuggets in order to acquire Kenneth Faried and Gay Harris. However, new reports are saying that the Los Angeles Lakers have decided to keep Young as he has shown improvement.

Young has been the subject of lots of NBA trade rumors this offseason but no confirmations or denials have been reported regarding the many topics about the Los Angeles Lakers player. Accordingly, the reason behind Los Angeles Lakers considering to trade Young is due to the scandal that he has been part of together with the other Lakers player D'Angelo Russell.

During the 2015-2016 NBA season, Russell reportedly leaked a video showing Young talking about cheating on his former fiancée, Iggy Azalea. The rift of the two continues to this day so Los Angeles Lakers want to separate the two players. Also, former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Byron Scott put Young on the inactive list last season due to his lack of focus in the game, Sportsrageous reported.

However, Young might not want to leave Los Angeles Lakers so he, together with Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle, have been playing better in the Drew League. The Los Angeles Lakers then could not make a decision yet, sources say. Accordingly, Young has established impressive improvements in the Week 10 of the Drew League. He was able to score 25 points and nine rebounds.

As for the latest trade rumors surrounding Young, Centrio Times reported that the Los Angeles Lakers is willing to trade him together with Randle in order to acquire Denver Nuggets' Harris and Faried. The new head coach of Los Angeles Lakers, Luke Walton, reportedly desperately wants his roster to be able to develop great teamwork and the incident about Russell and Young will keep that from happening.

Analysts are saying that having Faried and Harris for the Los Angeles Lakers will be a great move as it will greatly strengthen the NBA team's roster.
