Sports News: WWE’s Roman Reigns Calls Out UFC Champ Conor McGregor; “Come Up In My Locker Room”

The Ultimate Fighting Championship's biggest star, "The Notorious" Conor McGregor has recently mouthed his way into some heat again, this time the brash-talking featherweight champion has caught the attention of three-time WWE Champion Roman Reigns.

In an interview with The Mai Morning, which was posted on Twitter, Reigns calls out McGregor, saying that the Irish champ should "come up" in his locker room, but there's no guarantee that he might come out. Reigns surely knows how to make a statement, in and out of the ring.

Roman Reigns made his statement following McGregor's comments on the WWE roster at the UFC 202 conference call, saying "For the most part, those WWE guys are p*ssies, to be honest, they're messed up p*ssies, if you ask me," according to MMA Fighting.

"The Notorious One" certainly made waves around the WWE with his comments, getting the attention of WWE Hall of Famer "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Big names from the WWE universe also voiced their distaste for the what McGregor said, with a series of disapproving tweets, directed at the UFC featherweight champion.

Although MMA Weekly says that this could all be a ploy for McGregor to expand his brand to the WWE, like former Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousy, who made a special appearance alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, in Wrestlemania 32.

For the meantime, Conor McGregor is putting all of his focus on the rematch between himself and Nate Diaz. Even turning down a movie deal with Vin Diesel in the upcoming "XXX" sequel, "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage", according to Black Sports Online. McGregor reportedly turned down the opportunity saying "That was a seven-figure deal that I turned down so I could prepare for this fight." The role eventually went to UFC Middleweight champ, Michael Bisping.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will face off in UFC 202 in a welterweight bout, this August 20.
