‘The Originals' Season 4 Air Date, News & Update: Will Angry Klaus Mikaelson Be Rejected By Hope? Sacrifice By Joseph Morgan’s Character Backfires?

"The Originals" Season 4 has rich plots to continue including voluntary martyr Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) finding out that his sacrifice for siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) backfired. Waking up to the heartache of losing Cami O' Connell (Leah Pipes), who died at "The Originals" Season 3 finale, will also be tough on Klaus Mikaelson who may find rejection from daughter Hope (Summer Fontana).

To be sure "The Originals" Season 4 will not likely have a dull minute as not only will Klaus Mikaelson, Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkins), Elijah, Kol and Freya discover that a new villain (likely Neil Jackson as Alistair) is on the prowl. "The Originals" will also be joined by Keelin (Christina Moses) and fellow newcomer Eddie (Keahu Kahuanui).

Who teams up with whom will be figured out pretty quickly in "The Originals" Season 4 as Hope and the other children of New Orleans are in grave danger from the S4 villain. Will Klaus Mikaelson lose Hope so quickly after meeting her fresh off his stint as a Tunde Blade prisoner?

Hypable cites Yusuf Gatewood (Vincent Griffith) in describing "The Originals" Season 4 villain with these words: "icky, unctuous, miasmic, old evil." Will Hope have time to know and accept Klaus Mikaelson, whose grief and anger over the death of Cami O'Connell will be palpable in "The Originals" Season 4?

Or will Klaus Mikaelson be so angry and Hope's stay so brief that The Original hybrid will only know rejection from his daughter with Hayley Marshall? According to Entertainment Weekly, Klaus Mikaelson, Elijah, Kol and Freya will also have to deal with the aftermath of how his sacrifice for them essentially backfires.

Klaus Mikaelson, Hope, Hayley Marshall and the rest of the gang will return with "The Originals" Season 4 premiere when the midseason of 2017 rolls in. Do you think Klaus Mikaelson will be able to maintain his redeemed version or do you think he should revert to his bloodthirsty self to survive "The Originals" Season 4?
