'GTA 6' Release Date, News & Update: Rockstar To Reveal New ‘Grand Theft Auto’ At Gamescom 2016?

"GTA 6" has "Grand Theft Auto" fans hopeful for news at Gamescom 2016 by Rockstar. Recent news by parent company Take-Two Interactive on Rockstar activities whetted "Grand Theft Auto" fan enthusiasm for "GTA 6."

Trusted Reviews proposes that Rockstar may shock "Grand Theft Auto" fans with a bombshell of an announcement on "GTA 6." Citing recent reveal by Take-Two Interactive that "Grand Theft Auto" developer Rockstar is busy with future projects, the media outlet points out that one of the announcements Rockstar could drop is on "GTA 6."

Of course, "GTA 6" is not the only pie on the table as Rockstar is also believed to be working on a "Red Dead Redemption" sequel. Rather than a "GTA 6" announcement, Gamescom 2016 could see the unveiling of "Red Dead Redemption" by Rockstar.

Rockstar had been expected to provide tidbits on either "GTA 6" or "Red Dead Redemption" at E3 2016 after announcement by Take-Two Interactive. However, E3 2016 came and went with nary a word from Rockstar on either "GTA 6" or "Red Dead Redemption.

GTA 5 Cheats cites reports that absence by Rockstar at E3 2016 had been due to a "Red Dead Redemption" scene significantly resembling a US tragedy at that time. Even with a "Red Dead Redemption" unveiling, fans had been hoping to get a chance to ask about Rockstar plans for "GTA 6" and how long a wait the new "Grand Theft Auto" iteration would require.

If Rockstar had been ready to unveil "Red Dead Redemption" or give "Grand Theft Auto" fans a treat of "GTA 6" news at E3 2016, perhaps Gamescom 2016 will be their next attempt. As Parent Herald reports, fans are quite satisfied with both "Grand Theft Auto" and "Red Dead Redemption" franchises and would be happy to get word on either one at Gamescom 2016.
