'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Update: Kim Richards Walks Out After Dr. Phil's 'Not Good Mothering' Comment [Watch Video]

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Kim Richards, did not take Dr. Phil's parenting opinion too well. In an interview with Dr. Phil, Richards admitted to drinking before police arrested her.

Richards told the talk show host, "I'm beating myself up over this. I poured a drink of vodka, and I thought 'Oh my God, what have I done?'"

US Magazine reported that Richards got harsh criticisms from the talk show host for her recent reckless behaviors. When the reality star appeared on the Phil's show, the 64-year-old blatantly told her his opinions.

"Are you living a lie telling everyone, "I've been sober for three years"?" the host said. "You are drunk in a bar, fighting with a cop, that is not good mothering."

Richards is mom to four kids, namely, Brooke Brinson, Chad Davis, and Kimberly Jackson. After the reality TV star heard Dr. Phil's comment, she immediately wanted to take off. "Is this an intervention?" she asked. "I'm sorry, I can't."

To the surprise of many, Richards quickly left the room, seemingly upset. After she walked out, Kim could be heard angrily blurting out, "You can forget this whole thing, here's your microphone I'm done, I'm leaving, I wanna talk to my family."

Paris Hilton's aunt has checked in and out of rehab many times. The 50-year-old mother was arrested and charged with public intoxication on April 16. She was likewise charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery against a cop following a drunken incident.

An insider that witnessed the incident at the establishment said, "Kim insisted that any program had to fit her needs, saying she wouldn't go out of state, wanted to do a 30-day not 60-day program, didn't want to miss her daughter Brooke's wedding in May and was worried about being away from Monty."

Monty Brinson is Kim's ex-husband suffering from lung, brain, and spine cancer. He reportedly turns to his ex-wife for support as his health dwindles.

"Kim went into the interview with an open mind and genuinely wanting to do the interview but once she got there she became very upset and frustrated," an insider, referring to the premise behind Kim's breakdown in Dr. Phil, as reported in Hollywood Take.

"Her frustration grew because she began to realize what she was in for. Her kids were starting to talk like it was an intervention and Kim couldn't handle it. You could tell she felt cornered and hadn't realized what she had signed up for. She got up, and left in a huff yelling and cursing-anyone who was around her at the time could hear her shouting obscenities as she made her way out."

The controversial interview is scheduled to air next week, April 28.

Richards used to be a child star back in the 1970's. She famously starred in "The Streets of San Francisco" when she was a little girl, according to The Daily Mail UK.
