Kim Kardashian on Bruce Jenner Sex Change: Reality Star Supports Ex-Stepdad, Such Change is a Family 'Adjustment'

In an appearance in "Today," Kim Kardashian revealed that her family is adjusting to stepdad, Bruce Jenner, in his transition in sex change. People reported that Kim sat down with host, Matt Lauer, saying, "we really all support him," with regards to Jenner's gender change. The interview is scheduled to air on Monday .

Kim said in the interview's preview:

"I think there is still an adjustment and there's family therapy, and we're really close."

Kim acknowledged to Lauer that the entire family is always behind Jenner. She said:

"I see reports that say, 'This one doesn't support him and this one's over here and my mom feels this way.' And it's all really so made up...We really all support him. Is it a hard adjustment? Yes."

Bruce Jenner told all in an interview with Diane Sawyer in 20/20. The conversation aired Friday.

According to The Huffington Post, Bruce confided in Diane that:

"I'm me. I'm a person. This is who I am. I'm not stuck in anybody's body. My brain is much more female than male ... For all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

Jenner said the family is divided over his gender change. The former Olympian admitted that things have been hard for the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

The Daily Mail reported Bruce's sex change may have had a long time coming. The publication reported that a few years back Bruce wore one of Kim's dresses once.

Bruce confessed he finally decided to be open about his preferred sexuality just a few years ago. Kris Jenner's ex-husband said:

"I said, 'Okay, I'm so tired of lying to everybody.' So I told her [Kim] all my issues." 

"And then after it was over with, I felt much better. But when I brought the issue up again, she said, 'I just thought it was one of those subjects I couldn't talk about."'

Kim's husband, Kanye West, inspired his wife to accept Bruce's transgender sexuality and planned gender change, according to Bruce. Kanye allegedly told Kim, "Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, they don't mean anything."'

After heeding Kanye's uplifting message, Bruce said:

"Since then, Kimberly has been, by far, the most accepting, and the easiest to talk to about it."
