We rarely hear the Minnesota Timberwolves joining the NBA trade rumors but Inquisitr reported that the team is currently working with Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics on a blockbuster three-way trade talk. Reports have it that Nerlens Noel, Ricky Rubio and Amir Johnson will be donning a new jersey in the upcoming NBA season.

Yibada suggested that three-way trade talks will lead the 76ers center Nerlens Noel to Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio will be joining Philadelphia while Celtics power forward Amir Johnson will be heading to Minnesota Timberwolves.

Per the report, Philadelphia 76ers canceled the Noel and Johnson swap between the Celtics because the team has the number one overall draft pick Ben Simmons on their frontline. That is why, the trade that used to be just between the 76ers and Celtics has already involved another NBA team, the Timberwolves.

According to the NBA trade rumors, this trade will be a great opportunity for Celtics to upgrade their center or power forward position by acquiring Nerlens Noel. Noel plays similarly to Johnson but the former is younger and more skilled. Noel will be a great tandem for Al Horford in the frontline because Horford is great at offense while Noel excels in the defense in the middle.

Speaking of Nerlens Noel, Parent Herald previously reported that Cleveland Cavaliers is also eyeing the Philadelphia 76ers big man to help LeBron James deliver the team its back-to-back NBA title. Reports have it that James need real big men for its second championship for Cavs.

On a separate report from Parent Herald, other sources suggest that Brooklyn Nets should also acquire Nerlens Noel. There is no doubt that Noel is one of the most wanted power forward and center in the NBA league today. For this reason, many are interested in Nerlens Noel's new team in the next NBA season.
