DeMarcus Cousins is one of the hottest names in the off-season's NBA trade rumors. Several teams are reportedly interested in signing the Sacramento Kings center. According to the latest NBA trade buzz, Denver Nuggets is another potential team for Boogie.

Sports Rageous reported the current Nuggets head coach Michael Malone wants to reunite with DeMarcus Cousins. The two worked together in the 2013-14 NBA season when Malone coached the Kings. Reports have it that Denver has the assets to acquire Boogie from the Kings.

The Denver Nuggets is willing to trade Jusuf Nurkic, Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried to acquire DeMarcus Cousins. The trade will also lead the Nuggets to acquire the veteran Omri Casspi.

Ryan McCabe of Fansided suggested a Sacramento - Denver deal that could potentially work to reunite DeMarcus Cousins and Michael Malone. The deal involved Cousins and a mix of veterans and youthful talents.

Per McCabe, the Sacramento-Denver deal will give Kings a new option that they don't have in the past years. This would entail the team to trade their young players to create a contending veteran squad. If Kings prefers a young roster of talents they can also trade their veterans to acquire a plethora of assets and rebuild the team.

The report suggests that this rebuild will benefit Sacramento Kings the most. They will not lose anything because they are already secured with Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere and Jusuf Nurkic for their front court.

If DeMarcus Cousins land to Denver Nuggets, he will not only reunite with Michael Malone but also have the chance to play with Nikola Jokic. Jokic has the potential to be the next NBA superstar and Yahoo! Sports believes that Cousins and Jokic tandem will be effective for Nuggets' frontcourt.
