‘The Blacklist' Season 4 Release Date & News Update: Raymond Reddington, Liz Keen Series Peppered With Easter Eggs? S4 An Emotional Rollercoaster?

"The Blacklist" Season 4 reportedly has an emotional rollercoaster ride waiting for fans, who might wish to revisit old seasons of Raymond Reddington (James Spader) and Liz Keen (Megan Boone) for any missed easter eggs. Series creator and executive producer Jon Bokenkamp reveals that "The Blacklist" Season 4 will keep fans on their toes as Raymond Reddington and Liz Keen face the consequences of S3 finale "Alexander Kirk."

At the moment neither Raymond Reddington and Liz Keen are fully certain if "The Blacklist" Season 3 surprise - Alexander Kirk aka Constantin Rostov (Ulrich Thomsen) - is friend or foe. The complication lay in the fact that "The Blacklist" Season 4 is throwing Liz Keen in the company of Constantin Rostov after having believed that she shot him to death years ago.

  Parent Herald cites an interview by Digital Trends with Jon Bokenkamp in warning "The Blacklist" fans that Season 4 will usher in more than a few betrayals. Fans would do well to review past seasons of "The Blacklist" on Raymond Reddington and Liz Keen as according to Jon Bokenkamp, host many easter eggs.

"To go back and see them with some distance is very insightful, and fun to do," Jon Bokenkamp said of previous "The Blacklist" episodes. "And we love laying little Easter eggs here and there too."

Interestingly, Jon Bokenkamp promises that fans will see a lot more of Alexander Kirk as Constantin Rostov is critical to "The Blacklist" Season 4. Fans will be happy to know that Alexander Kirk will answer a lot of "The Blacklist" questions. However, Alexander Kirk will also cause many new questions to be raised in "The Blacklist" Season 4.

As far as Raymond Reddington and Liz Keen are concerned, it seems even though "The Blacklist" Season 4 will create a sense of coming closer to an answer, the tides will shift again. In a nutshell, Jon Bokenkamp told Digital Trends that "The Blacklist" Season 4 will be an emotional rollercoaster on speed.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 premiere airs on NBC this coming Sept 22. Raymond Reddington, Liz Keen and Alexander Kirk will also be joined by the Post Office team and Katarina Rostova in "The Blacklist" Season 4.
