"The Walking Dead" Season 7 spoilers hint that Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) may be one of the survivors from Negan's bat beating during the Season 6 finale. Rumors about Daryl's possible death emerged after the AMC drama released a short teaser promo for the first episode of the upcoming season, reports TVLine.

In the said "The Walking Dead" Season 7 trailer, Dwight was seen wearing Daryl's favorite wing vest and riding his motorcycle. This led to speculations that Daryl died during the Season 6 finale cliffhanger scene with Negan.

Executive producer Scott Gimple also teased fans and viewers that the "TWD" Season 7 premiere episode is bound to shock everyone. As of writing, one of these three characters is believed to meet his end in the upcoming season: Daryl, Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz).

While it is entirely possible that Daryl will die in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 given that his character is not based on any characters from the comic books, Nerdist notes that the new teaser promo can just be a distraction. It is impossible for the AMC series to tease on the identity of the character dying from Negan's bat beating.

AMC did a great job of keeping "TWD" Season 7 spoilers from revealing the identity of the Lucille victim from the Season 6 finale. However, since the show has been teasing on a shocking season ahead, fans are expecting to see the departure of a major character next season.
